Saturday we went to Strasburg, Pa to see Thomas the Train. Aidan was able to ride on a train that had a real Thomas engine. He was speechless when he first saw the engine. His mouth was just hanging open and his eyes were glued to it! Then he just started saying Thomas, Thomas, Thomas! That made the long trip and day spent in the the hot weather all worth it! He liked riding the train and seeing the cows and horses in the fields we passed. He even saw school buses on our trip, another of Aidan's favorite things! He was definitely tired and ready for a nap by the time we left. He didn't even make it out of the parking lot!
After a good nap, Aidan and Grandpa went to the pool at the hotel. Aidan swam around and jumped into the pool for at least an hour! He had so much fun in the water. There were some little girls that were jumping into the pool from edge and Aidan just had to do the same. So my dad would put him up on the edge and he would wait for the girls to jump in to the pool and then we would jump with them! When it was time to get out of the pool he was pretty upset.

Looking out the window of the train.

Playing with the train tables they had set up.

Aidan posing with Thomas, Percy and James. This picture was hard because Aidan just kept moving from train to train and would not stand still!

Since the line for the professional picture with Thomas was extremely long we just did our own.

Grandpa, Aidan and Grandma with Thomas.

Thomas leaving the station.

That looks like a fun trip! That train is pretty neat.
How neat! I bet Aidan was really cute when he saw a life-sized Thomas!
